Després de Somnis i Special Sparkle, arriba FANNIE, un tema dub-soul que parla de la vida de l'activista Fannie Lou Hamer. Una duríssima història de lluita i superació, on una dona que treballava al camp, que va patir vexacions, una esterilització forçada, brutalitat policial i discriminació racial, va contribuir a canviar la història del seu país.

Suzanna vol visibilitzar la història d'aquesta icona, per molts desconeguda i la seva lluita pels drets civils, tan vigent actualment malauradament.

Fannie Lou (Townsend) Hamer (1917-1977) va ser una activista pels drets de les dones i pel sufragi, va passar d'uns humils inicis al delta del Mississipi per convertir-se en una de les veus més importants, apassionades i poderoses dels moviments pels drets civils i de vot de la comunitat afroamericana.
